European Travels
January 2026. Eli and I went traveling by train across parts of Europe. I wanted to take photos, but I knew if I took my camera I would end up with thousands of photos and most of them wouldn't be great, so I went online and bought myself a cheap 35mm half-frame film camera. We started in London, then travelled to Lille for 2 days, then to Brussels for a day, followed by Cologne for 2 days, Rotterdam for 2 days, Amsterdam for 2 days, and finishing off with 5 days in Berlin be

Calypso
After finishing my degree I was a little burnt out, and went through a lot in my personal life. I realised it had been over a year since I picked up my camera, and found the one thing I could take thousands of photographs of on my phone. My beautiful cat Calypso. She has since passed (very recently at the time of writing) and I want to post these photos as a way to make her memory stay. Rest in peace my beautiful girl. 11/04/2023 - 11/07/2026

Goonhilly
The last few posts have been all about the university degree I did with Falmouth University. This is a set of images from a face to face event that they held:

Bridgwater Canal
I wasn't going to post this one as I walk along the canal a lot; however, this particular day, I took one of my favourite photos of my husband to date. This is the longest I have walked along the canal in my adult life, from the centre of Bridgwater to North Petherton, just about to the halfway mark of the canal. One day I will be fit and healthy enough to walk the entire distance!

Withyman's Pool
On the 21st April 2021, Eli and I went for a walk over the Quantocks. Although this is another one of those that I forgot to post about, I do remember parts of this. I remember walking for miles, taking in every bit of scenery, enjoying every moment together. Sitting on the top of a hill watching the horses, and getting back to the car park just in time for the sun to start setting. This was one of those moments as a couple I will always look back on fondly.

Ebbor Gorge
I don't like early mornings unless they're the last thing I see before going to bed. However, when your husband asks for a lift to work at 5 am, and you don't start work until 9 am, what do you do in the meantime? Walking with the camera is the best answer. At the time I worked in Wells, and didn't want to be too far away from work, so I went to Ebbor Gorge. I didn't look at where I was going at first; I saw a deer and just started following it, and found a viewpoint I have n

A Windy Day at Brean Fort
Picture this. You're standing right on the edge of a cliff. The wind is pushing against you, making your undone coat billow in the wind. You feel someone grab your hand, and you turn to see the familiar face of your partner smiling at you, and all you feel is that sense of pride when you know you've done good. For someone who's had suicidal thoughts for as long as they can remember, standing on the edge of a cliff and not even thinking about jumping is a massive achievement.

An Evening in Bridgwater
On the 31st March 2021, I went on an evening walk down the canal and river paths through Bridgwater with my husband Eli. We spent some time watching for a train on the old train bridge, and said hello to some of the local residents!

Weston
I'll be honest with you all. I forgot to update this blog. For 5 years. I have folders of images from shoots I have gone on, but I can't quite remember them all! On March 30th, 2021, I went for a walk along Weston-Super-Mare beachfront at sunset. These are the images that I took.

Combwich Walks
A lockdown walk with friends through a beautiful reserve. Lockdown has been rough on us all, so I have decided to try and go walking as much as I can, one of these walks I took my phone along and took some pictures using the camera on my Huawei P20 Pro. Although it was a long walk, and it tired me out, the place was beautiful. I saw multiple Heron's flying through the skies, and landing in the river, I saw some ducks and ducklings, morhens, Swans with their babies, and even a
