BEHIND THE CREATIVITY

I'm Jesse, a photographer, author, and creative with a habit of changing my hair almost as often as my projects!

​

I hold a Foundation Degree in Media Production and a Bachelor's degree in Photography, but creativity has always extended far beyond the camera for me. Alongside more than ten years of experience in customer service, I currently work as a bus driver, balancing everyday life with a passion for creating and telling stories.

​

My photography journey began at a young age, winning my first competitions at just 13 years old. Since then, I've been fortunate enough to receive numerous awards and have spent years capturing everything from wildlife and landscapes to weddings, family portraits, studio sessions, charity events, and community projects.

​

I have been writing for as long as I can remember, starting with short stories about my teddy bears as young as 6 years old. Since then, I have written so many short stories and novellas it's hard to keep track, and now I am a published author!

​

What began as Jesse Long Media, a small freelance photography business created for work experience, has gradually grown into a home for all of my creative passions. Today, alongside my photography, you'll also find my books, artwork, and other creative projects as I continue exploring new ways to tell stories and connect with people through different mediums.

​

Whether it's through a camera lens, the pages of a novel, or a paintbrush on canvas, my goal is always the same: to create work that captures emotion, sparks imagination, and leaves a lasting impression.

And, of course, no creative adventure would be complete without my husband Eli, my trusted assistant, professional bag carrier, expert lens cleaner, first reader, and enthusiastic supporter, who is never too far behind the scenes.
